Limberg Mining Company
Limberg Mining Company (Pty) Ltd’s (LMC) operations began with the acquisition of exploration rights in 2008. The LMC Mine has since developed from a greenfield exploration project into an operating mine. LMC’s mining right was granted in March 2010 to mine chrome ore and PGMs for 30 years. The mining right extends over an area of about 2 129 hectares. LMC has authorisations in place for both opencast and underground mining operations, as well as processing facilities.
